The Mill River Comedy Show makes its triumphant return and is bringing with it some of the greatest comedic talent Canada has to offer. Curated and hosted by PEI comedian Shawn Hogan, this year he's bringing with him some of the best of the best in Canadian comedy for TWO NIGHTS ONLY.
Making his Mill River Comedy Show debut will be none other than JEFF MCENERY!
JEFF MCENERY:
Jeff McEnery won the prestigious "Tim Sims Encouragement Award" and directly followed that up by winning the title of "Yuk Yuk's $25,000 Great Canadian Laugh Off Champion" as well as “Best Stand Up Newcomer” at the Canadian Comedy Awards. Since then, Jeff has made multiple appearances at every major Canadian comedy festival including the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and the Halifax Comedy Festival. He has been nominated for “Best Male Stand Up” at the Canadian Comedy Awards and his one hour "Comedy Now!" standup special aired nationally on CTV. You may have also seen him on television as an actor, playing such recurring roles as Alexander on the legendary hit show Letterkenny, a lead role in the movie Dog Pound, or as his many guest appearances on Murdoch Mysteries, Covert Affairs, and The Jon Dore Television Show. As a television writer, McEnery is a graduate of the Vancouver Film School’s Writing for Film and Television Program and was a story consultant on the CBC's Still Standing.

Shawn Hogan is a Mill River PEI born and raised comedian who has honed his skills on the biggest stages across the country over the last 15 years.
He has made consecutive national television appearances as part of the Halifax Comedy Festival, has been a featured comedian on CBC Radio's "The Debaters" and "Laugh Out Loud", and most recently was hand picked to open for Gerry Dee in front of a sold out audience at the Confederation Centre of the Arts in Charlottetown, PEI. He has produced and starred in hundreds of sold out shows across the East Coast, but nothing brings him joy more than performing to a Mill River, PEI crowd.
